Resizing Policy

Free Resizing Service:
If your ring doesn’t fit, we offer complimentary resizing. Clients are only responsible for the shipping costs (both ways).

Timeline for Resizing:
Resizing requests typically take 2 weeks from the time we receive your ring.

Finding Your Exact Ring Size:

  • Ring sizing is not universal. To avoid resizing issues, we recommend determining your exact size at a local jewelry store.
  • Alternatively, you can contact our team at hello@wilsongerard.com, and they will assist you in finding your perfect fit.

Resizing Inspection:
While resizing your ring, we perform a thorough inspection to check for wear and tear. Minor repairs (e.g., polishing or adjusting prongs) are included as part of the process. For more extensive repairs, we’ll contact you with an intake form and await your approval before proceeding.

Exchange Instead of Resizing:
In certain cases, we may recommend exchanging your ring for an identical piece in your size if:

  1. It ensures a faster turnaround.
  2. Resizing could compromise the ring's design or integrity.
  • This applies only to plain gold bands without stones. All exchanged pieces are handcrafted from scratch, and we will contact you before proceeding.

Special Cases – Eternity Bands:

  • Resizing Full Eternity Rings is not possible due to their design. Please double-check your size before placing your order.
  • For partial eternity bands, resizing is possible but may incur a $100 service fee. Contact us to confirm your ring size before production begins.
  • For eternity bands that require an exchange, additional fees may apply.

Important Note:
Clients are responsible for all shipping costs, including customs fees for international orders.


Repairs Policy

How to Start a Repair:
If your piece requires repair, contact us at hello@wilsongerard.com. Our team will guide you through the process and provide instructions for securely sending your jewelry to us.

What’s Included in Repairs:
Our specialists will evaluate your piece and provide a detailed intake form noting its condition and necessary repairs. Repairs under warranty may include:

  • Replacing or resetting stones.
  • Repairing or replacing settings.
  • Prong adjustments or replacements.
  • Resizing the band.
  • Addressing thinning areas of the band.

Approval Process for Extensive Repairs:

  • Minor repairs under warranty are completed automatically.
  • If additional work is required beyond the warranty’s scope, we will send you a repair estimate for approval before proceeding.

Shipping Costs:
Clients are responsible for shipping both ways, including customs fees for international clients.

Repair Timeline:
The typical turnaround for repairs is 2 weeks from the time we receive your piece.

Replacement of Unique Stones:
If your piece features limited-edition or one-of-a-kind stones, replacement may not always be possible. In such cases, we will contact you with alternative options that match as closely as possible.
